Frequently Asked Questions

Order Processing and Shipping TOP

Typically, with non-customized items , orders are processed and shipped between 48 and 72 hours. 

Clothing items in the Boutique Collection are all hand made by the various artisans. Due to the items not being mass produced, there is an additional processing time.  These items take on average 2 - 3 weeks for processing, plus an additional week for shipping. The product descriptions will note when the clothing is made by hand and will list additional processing time as it varies by artisan.

Please note, many of our items are custom designed and made by hand upon ordering.  These items are all unique and processing times vary.  Please refer to the item description for the approximate processing time for each specific artisan crafted product.

Shipping charges are as follows:

Orders under $30 - 6.95; Orders below $70 - $7.95; Orders under $100 - $8.95; and for all orders over $100 - $9.95.

International customers, as well as customers in Alaska and Hawaii have additional shipping charges.  Please contact us prior to ordering for additional information.

Will I be notified that my order has shipped? TOP

You will get an email at the email address you provided with the tracking number.

Which clothing items are made by hand? TOP

We are proud to offer lines of clothing by premier baby designers as well as a boutique collection that is hand made by the artisan.  The boutique collection is very unique in that the items are not mass produced, but designed especially for you.  Our artisans employ some of the best seamstresses in the industry to ensure only the best, upscale products. Each item in the boutique collection is made with great attention to detail, utilizing the softest fabrics.  Due to the custom nature of the boutique clothing, there is additional processing time (typically 2-3 weeks, but this varies by artisan).  We will note in each item description if it is a part of the boutique collection that is made by hand.

 

Is there a charge for personalizing an item? TOP

Some of our items, such as our monogrammed dresses, come personalized at no additional charge, while others have a cost associated with the customization.  If there is an additional charge, it will be identified in the product description.

Why do you need the child's full name if I only want initials on the monogram? TOP

We have several different artisans who offer personalization of their products.  The order the initials will appear is often determined by the font that is selected.  To reduce confusion in this scenario, with many of our products we ask for the full name in order to ensure correct monogramming. In other scenarios, when there are fewer font choices, we will ask you to enter initials as you want them to appear.  Please follow the instructions and enter the information according to how the product description requests it.  Utilize the comments field as well.  For example, if you only want one initial on a product, please let us know.  We try our best to accomodate specific requests.  We want you to be super pleased with our products, and we feel great communication helps achieve this.  Please ask any questions you may have and utilize the "comments" field when you make your purchases.

What is the blue mark on my merchandise? TOP

If you receive your merchandise and see a small blue mark, it is a water soluable marker used for monogramming items. They may also be seen them near the buttons and button holes. Our artisan takes great care to remove these marks from each and every item, however, they can sometimes reappear. Simply dab the mark with a damp cloth and it should disappear.

Exchanges and Returns TOP

Sugar Patch Baby strives to provide our customers with the highest quality merchandise and exceptional customer service.

Personalized items cannot be returned or exchanged.

If there is an error from Sugar Patch Baby on a personalized or non-personalized gift we will correct the mistake and replace the item.

Sales Tax TOP

Sales tax applies to all orders shipped to a North Carolina address. There is no sales tax charged for any other state.

Privacy TOP
